Wild Crafts: Make Your Own Watercolor Palette
8 November 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Learn to harvest local colors! In this workshop, participants will learn the art and science of making inks and paints from harvested plants and roots. At the end of the workshop, participants will walk away with their own watercolor palette. This workshop is open to all ages, but we ask that children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult.
Meet Your Instructor:
Sarahlily leads the WildCrafts workshop series teaching projects that combine art and environmental science. Inspired by Northern landscapes, Sarahlily earned a bachelor’s degree in physical geography with a focus on subarctic studies. Sarahlily currently works for the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies where they research wildlife, design maps, and lead guided hikes. In their spare time, you can find Sarahlily in the Yukonstruct woodshop breaking down pallets for upcycled furniture.
