How To Human Better: Goal Setting For The New Year

Are you a gung ho goal getter?

Or when it comes to New Year’s Resolutions or goal setting, are you drawing a blank, feeling pressured by everyone else’s bold ambitions, or having trouble following through?

Either way, you might appreciate an alternate approach.

Goal setting doesn’t have to be scary and aiming to change or improve doesn’t necessarily mean there’s anything wrong or bad with you. Prototyping, iteration, learning, and continual improvement are the hallmarks of innovators, entrepreneurs, makers, and, frankly, humans. (Ever seen a toddler learn to walk? No shame in falling down, learning from the attempt, getting back up, & trying something different!)

As we reflect on the year past and look forward to the year ahead, Caitlyn MacMaster, a certified life coach, will guide a growth-oriented goal setting workshop. Using frameworks such as Growth Mindset (Carol Dweck) and The Four Tendencies (Gretchen Rubin), and building on the neuroscience of motivation, Caitlyn will guide a process aimed at addressing both the what and the how of your goals so that you can set – and KEEP! – goals that matter to YOU.

We will host this workshop twice:

December 21, 4:30 – 6:30PM – Online Only

January 7, 1:00-3:00PM – Hybrid (online and in person, pending COVID conditions)

*Both follow the same process and contain the same content. Feel free to join whichever one suits you best. There is a second event page for the Hybrid event in January
