This is a FREE program!
Power Up! is a program for girls, nonbinary and trans youth aged 13 to 17 to explore skilled trades and technology environments during 6 weeks of after school workshops.
This program runs weekly from October 28th – December 9th (not including November 11th) on Mondays after school from 3:30-6.
Tentative Schedule (Note that this is subject to change!):
Monday October 28th: Welding at Yukon University
Monday November 4th: Heavy Equipment Mechanics at Yukonstruct
Monday November 18th: Aircraft and Flight Mechanics at Alkan Air
Monday November 25th: Glassblowing at Lumel Studios
Monday December 2nd: Woodworking part 1/2 at Yukonstruct Woodshop
Monday December 9th: Woodworking part 2/2 at Yukonstruct Woodshop”
