Note: Doors will open and food will be served at 5:30pm. The formal instruction will start at 6pm!

YWITT Maker’s Club Presents: Wire a Bottle Lamp!

YWITT Makers Club welcomes folks over 18 who self-identify as women, trans people, and anyone else whose gender is outside of the male/female gender binary.

Instructors will guide participants through drilling a hole in their bottles, stringing through the wire and plug, and wiring the socket. All experience levels are welcome!

We recognize there are communities who traditionally experience barriers to accessing tools, shop and training time, and we are working towards reducing those barriers. We’ve reserved a portion of tickets for People of Global Majority, click here  to learn more about that term. If these tickets aren’t claimed, they will be made available as general admission the 5 days leading up to the workshop.

All materials and equipment, including bottles, will be provided. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own bottle if they would like.

This event is free and pizza will be provided!

It is important to us that our workshops are financially accessible for folks who may not have access to tools, knowledge sharing or shop space, but if you would like to contribute to making these free workshops possible: https://www.yukonwitt.org/donate

Maximum of 12 participants. If this workshop is full, add yourself to the waitlist and we will get in touch if more space becomes available!

Reach out to coordinator@yukonwitt.org with any questions.
