YuKonstruct will be an exhibitor at YukomiCon 2014, Yukon’s 1st Annual Comic Convention, presented by Yukon Comic Culture Society. Stop by our booth – we’ll have a space for you to put the final touches on your cosplay costume or you can 3D print a model of your favourite character!
The Yukon Comic Culture Society was established in 2013 to promote the enjoyment and appreciation of comics and related forms of popular and alternative culture; YukomiCon is their flagship project.
A comic convention is a new and exciting type of event for Whitehorse, and the one of the first of its kind in Canada’s north. YukomiCon will host a main exhibit hall filled with vendors, artists, and writers, and special events such as an outdoor BBQ, live music, adult and children costume contests, and a few special guests. A selection of gaming tournaments and educational classes and panels for the creative writers and illustrators in our community are also planned.
