This workshop is designed for people who have attended the Wood Lathe 101 or have already done a bit of spindle work.
After a quick refresher on lathe operation, learn the ins and outs of wood chuck turning and spend this two-hour-and-half long session working out how to turn bowls by building on skills used in the Spindle turning class. You’ll also be introduced to lathe safety.
About the instructor: Richard has used wood lathes for a long time and has done a variety of lathe work over the years mainly for pleasure. He’s looking forward to getting members trained on the lathe so that others can get working on projects needing spindle work.
