Welding 101

Get started in the metal shop by learning MIG and STICK welding techniques, how to handle the equipment safely, and how to access and put away the gear. You’ll get hands on experience working with each piece of equipment and walk away with something you’ve created!
Closed-toe shoes and non-flammable, non-synthetic clothing are required for this training session. Participants may wish to bring their own own leather gloves and protective eyewear.
About the instructor: Scott is a welder by trade but now brews beer for Yukon Brewing.  He is very excited to help advance the creative minds at Yukonstruct.
