Join this beginner course and learn how to use the laser cutter to make promotional items that stand out.
This two-hour-and-a-half-long session covers the basics of how to use the laser cutter including safety, ventilation, raster and vector design, print settings, and cutting and etching different materials.
Hands-on experience: Bring in a file of your logo or some content you want to put on your promotional item and learn how to cut or engrave it onto birch plywood or metal business cards!
All materials provided: 7″x 3.5″ piece 1/8″ birch plywood and one metal business card and one plywood business card each
COVID-19 protocol:
- We will ask you to wash your hands as soon as you enter the building. After you wash your hands, we encourage you not to touch your mouth or eyes while in the building.
- We encourage you to bring and wear a fabric or dust mask in the laser cutter room, where there is less space for distancing.
