Before you can 3D print something, you need to create it on the computer! This class covers the basics of creating 3D models with SketchUp. The software used is available for free and participants can bring their own laptops or use the YuKonstruct computers.
This workshop is designed for people with no previous experience using drafting software. While participants are welcome to follow along on their Macs, the course will be taught on PCs and there are some differences between the PC and Mac versions of the software.
About the Instructor: Chris Lloyd is a dedicated YuKonstruct volunteer and has a diploma in Architectural Technology and several years of professional experience with computer aided drafting and design programs.
