Sew A Personalized Stocking

This workshop takes place on Thursday December 16 from 6-9pm.
This Intermediate Christmas themed sewing course will guide participants through making a personalized, lined Christmas stocking. Participants will learn how to correctly sew curves, lining and embellishments while making one average sized stocking.
This is an intermediate class. Participants need to know how to thread their machine, adjust stitches and tension and sew basic items like tote bags and curtains.
All materials will be provided to sew one stocking. 
If you would like to bring your personal machine you are welcome to as long as it has a new needle, a bobbin and is working and ready to go. You are welcome to bring your own fabric (1m) , however  a selection of fabric will also be provided.

COVID-19 protocol:

  • All workshop participants and instructors will be asked to present their vaccination passport upon arrival. Unfortunately will not be able to allow anyone without a vaccination passport to participate in the workshop.
  • We will ask you to wash your hands as soon as you enter the building. After you wash your hands, we encourage you not to touch your mouth or eyes while in the building.
  • Masks are required to be worn by all participants and instructors at all times. 
  • Please stay home if you are sick or have a fever, cough or shortness of breath.
