This Camp will run from 9:00 am (8:30 am early drop off) – 3:30 pm June 26 through 30th
Participants will gain skills in each of the four areas of the Yukonstruct Makespace (woodshop, metal shop, Digital Fabrication, and Textiles) while completing 4-6 practical and fun projects that will help solidify this knowledge in an enjoyable and rewarding way.
Our fun projects and skilled instructors will encourage youth to try new things and think outside the box. Thus they will have plenty of opportunities to build resilience and self-confidence.
With a passion for youth and science, our Maker Mentors recognize your child’s uniqueness and foster their creative side. Maker Mentors are trained to have students focus on the why and discover the logic behind the activity instead of following a prescriptive set of instructions. With a 4 to 1 child-to-staff ratio and a focus on collaborative problem solving, our classes are designed for your child to actively participate.
