This paddle‑making academy will guide participants through the full process of building a laminated bent‑shaft paddle. Sessions will cover laminating the shaft and blade, assembling the blade, shaft, and handle, shaping the paddle, adding a spline, and glassing the blade.

- Tuesday March 31, 5-9 (New Member and Woodshop orientation)
- Monday April 13, 6-9
- Monday April 20, 6-9
- Monday April 27, 6-9
Participants will use the table saw, jointer, planes, angle grinder, belt sander, spoke shave, rasp, and rotary sander.
Final finishing will be left to participants.
Pricing includes materials and a month of Makespace 24/7 membership, approximately $220 value.

About the Instructor: Bob Sharp has built many paddles over the past 56 years and has used these paddles on many Yukon Rivers.
