Create, design, and model in VR by learning software that allows you to visualize the object taking shape in 3D while you are designing it. This is one of the ways VR has a tremendous advantage over any design software on a flat screen.
In the first three 2-hour sessions, you will learn to do 3D-design in virtual reality using the cross-platform software Gravity Sketch.
In the fourth and last session, you will export your design and learn how to 3D print it.
Your design will be printed and you can pick it up later that week.
We are set up for 3 teams of 2 people. All of our VR systems are disinfectable.
The teams of 2 should be in the same bubble to reduce spread of infection. We will have wipes here to disinfect goggles when shared with someone who isn’t in the same bubble.
You will be able to experience the HTC Vive, Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift.
