This workshop takes place on Feb.28, 2022
You will use the induction forge to heat and shape metal and learn to use an anvil and basic hand tools.
This workshop covers the basics of how to use YuKonstruct’s induction forge including safety, power settings and working with different metals. Thanks to a small group size you will get lots of practice!
Closed-toe shoes, long sleeves and long pants as well as and non-flammable, non-synthetic clothing are required for this workshop. Participants may wish to bring their own own leather gloves and protective eyewear.
Considered orientation and safety training for the induction forge for Yukonstruct members.

COVID-19 protocol:

  • All workshop participants and instructors will be asked to present their vaccination passport upon arrival. Unfortunately will not be able to allow anyone without a vaccination passport to participate in the workshop.
  • We will ask you to wash your hands as soon as you enter the building. After you wash your hands, we encourage you not to touch your mouth or eyes while in the building.
  • Masks are required to be worn by all participants and instructors at all times. 
  • Please stay home if you are sick or have a fever, cough or shortness of breath.
