The Small Engine Course is designed for those interested in keeping their small equipment optimally operational, understanding what is going wrong with it and how to fix minor problems. This course will focus on small 2-stroke engines (Chainsaws, lawnmowers, snowblowers and other equipment that take mixed gas). Participants can apply the knowledge to more complex small engines in motorcycles, sleds etc.

Participants will work on tuning or troubleshooting their equipment to maintain or improve performance. Participants will supply their own machine to repair and tools. Participants assume ALL RISK if they bring in a piece of equipment that is running before the course, no guarantee is made that it will be operational later. Participants should search for service manuals for their particular machines that would include torque and specifications for wear. Yukonstruct will try to find donor engines to work on if possible.

Some tools will be available to borrow from the instructor or Yukonstruct.
