Get started blacksmithing and forge yourself a towel rack or display rack!
You will use the gas forge to heat and shape metal and learn to use an anvil and basic hand tools.
This workshop covers the basics of how to use YuKonstruct’s gas forge including safety, settings and working with mild steel. Thanks to a small group size you will get lots of practice!
Closed-toe shoes and long-sleeve non-synthetic clothing (cotton, wool, denim) are required for this workshop. Participants may wish to bring their own leather gloves and protective eyewear but those will be provided.
Jonathan has been teaching blacksmithing workshops for several years and even made a suit of armor!
