YuKonstruct is hosting a woodworking instructables club (not a workshop) for YuKonstruct members! This means that members join the club and go through the lessons by themselves, but also get together as a group to figure things out from the lessons at instructables.com. For more information, check out the blog post about the club.
Project #2: House Number Sign
This project is about learning the art of gluing. There is more to gluing a joint than meets the eye, and participants in the club will go through Lesson 3 of the Instructables Woodworking Class to learn tips and tricks of gluing while making an attractive house number sign.
If you have attractive scrap wood that you would like to incorporate into your project – please bring it along!
Reminder:
- You must be a YuKonstruct Member to participate in the club.
- You must have an Instructables account to enroll in the class. Instructables is offering free enrollment in the woodworking class this month.
- Members are responsible for going through all previous lessons in the Instructables Woodworking Class ahead of time and ensuring that you know the skills needed to do the project.
