Get started blacksmithing! This one-hour-long session covers the basics of how to use YuKonstruct’s induction forge including safety, power settings and working with different metals. You will use the induction forge to heat and shape metal and learn to use an anvil and basic hand tools.
Closed-toe shoes and non-flammable, non-synthetic clothing are required for this training session. Participants may wish to bring their own own leather gloves and protective eyewear.
Considered orientation and safety training for the induction forge for Yukonstruct members.
About the instructor: Sam is a multi-talented maker and instructor. He is passionate about welding and blacksmithing!
