Do It Women is a DIY series of monthly workshops for women to learn how to use tools and equipment to build projects and skills together. Beginners welcome (and encouraged). No membership required!
This month we will sew backpacks! This beginner sewing class will cover the basics in domestic machine sewing. Participants will learn how to draft a drawstring back pack on to cotton fabric, cut it out and sew it up in one evening. Skills learned are easily transferable to making curtains, pillow covers or hemming pants.
If you would like to bring your personal machine that is fine, as long as it has a new size 80 needle, a bobbin and is working and ready to go.
All materials are covered in the price of the workshop.

DIW accrues a lengthy wait list each month. If you are unable to attend the workshop, please email victoria@yukonstruct.com so we can offer your space to someone else. Two days notice is ideal, but same day notice is also appreciated.
