Participants will learn the basics of carving wood from how to hold the knife to basic techniques to finishing and will make their own soapberry spoon out of Birch wood!
Closed-toed shoes are required. Wear well-fitting clothes that can get dirty. Safety glasses will be worn at all times in the shop, if you have your own or prescription Z87 rated eyewear please bring it but we will have safety galasses and over glasses on hand to wear.
