Get started blacksmithing and forge yourself a Garden Tool similar to the one pictured! You will use the gas forge to heat and shape metal and learn to use an anvil and basic hand tools.
Closed-toe shoes and long-sleeve non-synthetic clothing (denim, cotton, leather) are required for this workshop. Participants may wish to bring their own protective eyewear but it will be provided.
Considered orientation and safety training for the induction forge for Yukonstruct members.
About the instructor: Jonathon has been blacksmithing and teaching workshops at Yukonstruct for many years and has made his own medieval armor!
