3D printing has revolutionized prototyping and manufacturing everywhere from the automobile industry to a high school classroom.
Learn the basics of 3D printing and computer-aided design by designing, slicing and printing rings, or whatever your heart desires.
This is a one time after-school workshop for youth aged 12-16.
About the instructor: Lana Tomlin is an Engineering student who found her way into the field through 3D printing. Having designed and printed everything from earrings to parts to build her own non-functional CNC machine, she knows a printer inside and out.
