A tour of the tools you should learn!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to 3D model, but don’t know where to start? In this workshop, we’ll demonstrate six free tools you can use to get started, whether you’re making 3D printed parts, organic sculptures, architectural models, or video games. This is a whirlwind tour of the tools that are available to you, in order to help you decide what tools make the most sense for the kinds of things you want to make. At the end of the class, you’ll receive a list of resources to get you started on your journey to learn the tools that allow you to model whatever your heart desires!
The six tools you will learn about in this workshop are: Tinkercad, Meshmixer, Sketchup, Fusion 360, Unreal Engine, and Blender. All software supports Windows and Mac.
