Yukonstruct Society is proud to launch the inaugural hall of innovators awards.

We need you to nominate the change makers, innovators, and creatives who have shaped their industry, sector, or the social or cultural landscape in the Yukon to create a brighter future.

The award winners will be recognized at the inaugural Hall of Innovators Awards on November 20th, 2020

Calling All Artists

We are seeking proposals from local artists and makers interested in creating and designing an innovative space that will celebrate Yukon innovators and change makers. This space can include murals, sculptures, installations, or other inspiring media that will tell the story of Innovation in the Yukon.

A shared space for northern changemakers

Yukonstruct is home to a vibrant community of makers, entrepreneurs, freelancers, professionals, nonprofits, startups, public servants, artists, designers, developers and more. This diversity creates a rich environment for ideas and opportunities to spark.

Our bright space houses 40 hot desks, 16 dedicated desks, 12 private offices, 8 studios, 1 event space, 2 classrooms, 3 meeting rooms, 2 lounge spaces, 2 woodshops, 1 metal shop, 1 digital fabrication lab, 1 sewing loft and 1 hackerspace.

Social Impact Community Member

Yukonstruct community has access to the Pan-Canadian Social Innovation Passport!  Our members can cowork for up to 10 days per year for free in 8 other social impact centers in Canada.

The first Community Innovation Hub north of 60, NorthLight Innovation is a 24,000 sq ft multi-tenant facility located in downtown Whitehorse, in the beautiful Yukon Territory.
